IDA of Northern Ohio (NOBIDA) is a branch of the International Dyslexia Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, committed to serving individuals with dyslexia along with teachers, administrators, literacy specialists, families, and advocates northeast and northwest of Columbus, OH.

While in the midst of the pandemic, schools were online, and communities were separated, but NOBIDA wanted to continue serving and educating its vibrant community. R+C helped them rally and build the technology to continue their annual symposium online. Further, we increased communications and successfully maneuvered the symposium and ongoing education opportunities in a pivot to virtual for one more year. In 2022, we were able to return to an in person symposium which included print material prep and event planning support.

R+C proudly continues to provide communications support in the form of newsletters, website content development, blog content, and graphic design.

J. Barker Landscaping Company includes Jeffery Barker, his son Brandon, Landscape Designer Sarah Bishop, and a hard working team of landscaping experts. The company has over 49 years of experience building inspired residential and commercial landscape projects alongside reliable landscaping services.

Refine + Conquer (R+C) created all new website content based on a reinvigorated brand. We focused on their “origin” story, their magnificent design project portfolio, and their delighted customer base.

VP and General Manager, Brandon Barker is happy with the updated content and strategy. In celebration of over 120 years of home-based, often completely subsidized, life-saving healthcare services in the greater Cleveland area, A 501(c)(3) organization, the VNA of Ohio came to R+C to strategize an entirely new website layout and content. Their current website content lacked clarity and heart.

R+C conducted a brand audit that included multiple interviews with past and present stakeholders, donors, and staff. The process helped establish what was at the center of their organization: Caring together is at the heart of their services and we decided to center the website around this mission. We illustrated their mission through a focus on story and description. A new blog included interviews with service providers that explained their care focus and clarified terminology. Additional patient and client success stories, testimonials, and FAQs help website visitors connect further with VNA of OH’s “caring together” mission.

Former VNA VP of Advancement, Nancy McCann is enthusiastic about Refine + Conquer’s efforts. “Lisa was instrumental in assisting us with a complete overhaul of our website, blog, social media and care stories. Without her assistance, it would have taken months to pull it all together and she was able to do it in record time!”

Simply Grounded Founder Annie Siegel leads her wellness community with a warm, soothing, and peaceful presence. Her meditation, yoga, and Thai massage services offer 3 modalities that help clients reduce their daily stress levels. During the pandemic, she created an online membership to continue to connect and reassure her community of their strength and resilience in the face of many unknowns.

R+C strategized with Annie to develop a blog which explores her journey to building Simply Grounded and illuminates the different yoga and meditation practices in her programming. Annie’s online membership and in person retreats have blossomed since the pandemic. R+C helped develop descriptive website page content to highlight these offerings and help her continue growing her community.

Yolanda and Jason Lucas are proud Cleveland, OH community members who began their luxury vehicle service to help transport clients for happy occasions. They came to R+C because they needed appealing website content to help increase their luxury rental car business, explain their pricing, and describe the unique experiences their clients have had while using their services.

I created heartfelt content intended to attract clients to their warm nature and reliable business acumen. The classy copy focuses on community outreach and opportunities for special moments aboard Phoenix Luxury Vehicles.
